Our Mission

HOFMI’s main objective is the advancement of Christianity in accordance with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The church seeks to:

Relieve financial hardship by the provision of funds, goods or services to widows and the less privileged.
Also the church provides counseling and support to members of the church and the community.

Hebrews 12:14 says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." (KJV)

Assistant Pastor (London)

The Assistant Pastor will work closely with the lead pastor to support the spiritual, administrative, and pastoral needs of the church, with a special focus on the youth and children’s departments.

Duties and Job Description

Assist in planning and leading worship services, including preaching and teaching
Lead the youth and children ministry, organizing weekly meetings, Bible studies, and youth-oriented worship services
Prepare and deliver sermons as needed, in alignment with the church’s mission.
Lead prayer and devotional sessions and participate in musical worship if needed.
Spearhead and coordinate the church’s growth and development efforts aimed at improving the church’s finances.
Provide pastoral counselling and spiritual guidance to individuals, couples, youth and families within the congregation.
Visit members in hospitals, nursing homes, and those who are homebound, offering prayer and support.
Develop and lead Bible studies, small groups, and discipleship programs for various age groups (most importantly the youth and children)
Assist in planning and executing educational programs, retreats, and special events that promote spiritual growth.
Mentor and support lay leaders and volunteers within the church.
Coordinate and participate in welfare, missions and outreach programs both locally and internationally.
Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks of the church, including organizing meetings, maintaining records, and supporting the church office staff and volunteers
Work with the Senior Pastor and church leadership in developing and implementing church policies and procedures.
Attend and contribute to church leadership meetings, including the church trustee and committee meetings.

Required qualifications:
Educated to a Level 5 qualification in Theology or any relevant practical experience (Desirable).
Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check with a check of the Children’s Barred List.
